Abstract

Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is being considered as the next generation cryptographic algorithm for securing confidential information. Compared to other commonly used algorithm such as RSA, it offers same security and low processing overhead for smaller key size. Since the ECC encryption and decryption can be done only on elliptic curve points, the importance of developing an efficient Encoding and Decoding Technique is vital. In this paper, the speaker will introduced an efficient new algorithm called Generator-Inverse algorithm (G’ algorithm) for encoding and decoding of a message for the efficient implementation of ECC. By using this new algorithm ECC can be successfully implemented in Single Sign-On mechanism.
