Abstract
Critical infrastructure power, water, transportation, healthcare and finance forms the backbone of national security and economic stability. Yet this backbone is undergoing unprecedented digital disruption: OT systems are converging with IT networks, IoT sensors are proliferating across industrial control systems, and cloud-based management platforms are replacing air-gapped operations. For CISOs, the challenge extends beyond their enterprise perimeter to an ecosystem where a vulnerability in a vendor’s software or a misconfigured IoT device can cascade into national-level consequences.
