Abstract

Cybercrime is the No. 1 Crime in US, Europe and other parts of the world overtaking drug-running since 2009 onwards. The dangers of Cyber crime and its implications are being faced by law enforcement agencies, IT Security Professionals, Corporates, Banks, Financial institutions as well as the lay IT user.

Cyber crime can only be ignored at our peril. This talk will focus on the background to Cyber Crime, the latest developments and technology of Cyber crime and also showcase the high costs of cyber crime to businessand corporations based on independent surveys and research.
