Abstract
RFID cards are one of the most common and extensively used physical authentication mechanisms in the current world which in turns makes the RFID security of paramount importance. The usage of RFID can vary from logistics to attendee tracking to access control. With this talk the speaker will focus on the variety of RFID cards, different attacks and security measures taken to prevent them and the current implementation of RFID in the real world. The talk will also include demonstration of a cheap RFID setup using which reading and writing into RFID cards is possible.
